Yo Gotti took to social media today to make a few announcement.
The self-proclaimed King of Memphis, announced his long-awaited album The Art of Hustle, will be releasing Feb. 19. Gotti also revealed the album’s album cover, which shows Gotti when he was just 8 years old looking like a young hustler. “I have been looking at those pictures all my life,” says Gotti. “We had houses in Vegas. My mom and auntie, any [boxing] fight that was poppin’, they would show up with the mink coats on and get front row seats. And for some reason I was just into that lifestyle, so I was always asked to tag along with them. And they let me go.”
Yo Gotti has an alternate album cover, which shows him in red suspenders and rocking a massive gold chain (see below).
Yo Gotti released The Return mixtape in September, which features the “Down in the DM” single. The song recently hit No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Hip-Hop/R&B chart.
Today, Yo Gotti also revealed the artwork and snippet to the remix of “Down in the DM” featuring Nicki Minaj.
Stay tuned for the full version, which drops tomorrow.
