A lot of people may not know the true WAVY GOD Max B, partially because he has been in prison serving a 75 year bid for a 2009 murder.
Kanye West recently announced his album title being changed from Swish to Waves and people jumped to Max B’s defense immediately, Wiz Khalifa included, which resulted into Twitter fingers between Ye and Wiz.
It’s been awhile since the world heard Max voice, but on Wednesday (Feb. 3), Max B called in to Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club to express his support in Kanye choosing to use Waves as his album title.
“I like Kanye,” he said. “I appreciate it. I love it. Thank you.”
After being asked if Ye took the idea from him, Max replied: “We don’t have a relationship. I never met him, but I feel he got it from the atmosphere and the atmosphere got it from me, but it’s all good. That’s what art is about. We take things from each other as artists in the creative process and things of that nature. It’s all good. He ain’t drop a diss record. He just called his album Waves and everybody know I’m the Wavy Daddy so it’s all good. I appreciate it.”
