After recently dropping a joint EP titled Madeinmurda with younger brother and Private Club Records member Madintyo, Royce Rizzy shifts the focus to a solo joint with “Cartier.”
After shooting for a big record to be noticed by Atlanta and doing so with “Gah Damn,” which eventually led to a remix and management deal with Jermaine Dupri, Rizzy never came back with a record that could trump the success of “Gah Damn.” Instead he hit the road for a Japan tour and shot videos for almost every song off his Prerolled mixtape and has since focused on his conglomerate The Private Club.
“Cartier” happens to be the first single off the sequel to his Prerolled tape. It’s a good feeling as a fan to know Rizzy is revisiting the project that for me felt like was more his lane.
