Detroit native Big Sean is well known for giving back to his community and now the rapper reacts to the Flint, MI water crisis.
“I am devastated by the water crisis that has put the entire city of Flint in a state of emergency,” said Sean in a statement. “In recognizing the great work that the Community Foundation of Greater Flint Michigan has been doing, it is my hope we can help by raising the money needed to ensure that the children who have been hit the hardest receive the care that they need today and well into the future.”
Sean has personally donated $10,000 to “Flint Child Health & Development Fund” and has also partnered with Crowd Rise through his non-profit Sean Anderson Foundation to launch #HealFlintKids. As an initiative, donors who pledge $10 or more will automatically be entered to win VIP tickets to one of Sean’s upcoming U.S. concerts as well as a meet and greet/photo op.
